Lodging & Rates
Taylor House Inn offers two suites, five guest rooms in the main
house and two small cottage rooms on the grounds. The suites and guest rooms are luxuriously
large, and all accommodations include down comforters, hand made
quilts, private baths and wonderful views.

The First Floor Suite
The First Floor Suite is tucked away in the rhododendron on the
western side of the house, overlooking a gazebo and herb garden.
An elegant king size pencil post bed is paired
with a slatted walnut daybed, each with a down comforter and
colorful quilts. The large bathroom has an original claw
foot tub with shower. The suite has its own private sitting area with a gas chimney and Satellite TV.

Room 1
One of our largest guest rooms, located on the front west corner
of the second floor. Two large sets of windows overlook
the herb garden and gazebo to the west and to the front is a
peaceful view of the Valle and Dutch Creek. A high king
size iron bed like Grandmother's with a down comforter and hand
made quilt make for all the comforts of yesteryear.

Room 2
This cozy guest room is tucked away on the west side of the
house on the second floor. Cool mountain mornings and our
gracefully curved wooden king size bed with down comforter and
patchwork quilt are great for sleeping late. The wicker
set of chairs overlooks our gazebo and herb garden. This large
step down bathroom also has an original claw foot tub with
shower.

Room 3
Room3, on the second floor, is nestled in the back of the house
on the east side. This guest room has a majestic king size bed and is shaded by an old
hemlock. Beneath two large windows is the stone terrace
and flower gardens with numerous butterflies and finches. Room 3 is adjacent to Room 4 and can accommodate families.

Room 4
Room 4, on the second floor, is on the east side of the house and has two exquisite white wooden queen size beds. Its large window overlooks also the stone terrace and flower gardens. This room adjoining Room 3, makes an ideal accommodation for a family; its bathroom is down the hall.

The

Little Room in the Red Cottage
The Little Room in the Red Cottage has its own delightful charm. The big window gives you a view of the old historical barn of the Valle. The access to its private entrance is through the flower gardens and is completely independent from the Red Cottage. The Little Room has a queen size bed, a wicker settee and a private bath with shower.
